BEST Ski/snowboard shop in CT!! I was in today (a few other times this week and last) and everyone is awesome that works there!! I ended up spending more than I expected (only cause I bought more stuff), but I am more than happy!! I even put a coat on layaway! I miss the Cheshire location, but I am more than willing to go the distance for the quality service and products at Action Sports!! PS. . I told the girls behind the counter today I was going to put something on Facebook. . See?? I wasn't kidding ;-)
"Great Selection and Service"
Located just over the "Q" bridge in Branford, this sporting goods store is packed with everything you'll need for getting some air this winter. Previously I purchased a mountain bike and inline skates from Action Sports. Both purchases were painless and the staff did an excellent job helping me find what I was looking for. Recently, Action Sports has gone more toward snow sports. what ever it is you're looking for the people at Action Sports will help you find it.
Action Sports invites customers to "Be ready for the trip"- Now I know how easy it is to be truly ready with a little help from Action Sports. My wife and I just returned from a trip to Jiminy Peak (which is a great family mountain, btw) with our two kids. We all had a great ski vacation, especially the two little ones, and it all started with our trip to your store. I wanted to let you know that the staff at your Branford store made outfitting the gang as smooth as can be. We needed a lot of gear- it was the first trip for one of the kids- and whether we were checking out rentals or purchases, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and really worked with the kids and had them excited about trying on boots and gear and even about getting out on the slopes to use it all. Thanks again for being so helpful- we love the store, staff, great gear, and will be sure to return.
Before we left for St. Maarten we stopped at Action Sports for swim goggles. The gentleman who took care of us was unbelievably nice and helpful!
He let the kids try on several sets until they found the ones that fit perfect--Great experience!!
