Details
The Elan Ripstick Tour 104 ski is the widest offering in the Ripstick Tour line. Research and development of this ski was led by the one and only Glen Plake, who has put his signature on this ski as his first official pro model. At 104-millimeters underfoot, this freeride touring ski was meant to burn up the skin track in search of big peaks, deep snow and steep, technical terrain. With skin notches grooved into the tips and tails of these skis and matching skins to go along with them, these skis were meant to go far in search of the ultimate run. Tipping the scales at 1540 grams at the 180-centimeter length, these skis combine lightweight touring capabilities with superior downhill performance that only a true freeski legend would endorse. Carbon Bridge technology has been added to Elans Amphibio profile to make turning, smearing, and carving effortless. Playfulness is a premium on this this ski, but it also has the chops to hold a turn on firm snow and provide responsiveness when in things tight, sketchy and spicy. The overall shape and unique build of the Elan Ripstick Tour 104 really sets this ski apart from other touring freeride skis in this category. If it's good enough for Plake, its certainly good enough for you.
